Best Sandy dog actor ever for the Annie Musical production! Annie, the officer and the dog made the perfect team! The dog is a professionally trained service animal for a boy who had a hemorrhagic stroke at age 15 from a brain AVM his family did not know he was born with. (He is the one who places the dog at the start of the scene.) The dog was trained by River’s Edge Dog Academy. The hardest part of this scene was teaching the dog that in this case he was not to come when first called. He was trained he had to wait until the actress gave the signal—no matter what she said.
